As is well known, minimally invasive, precise, and intelligent approaches are important hallmarks of modern surgery and the direction of future orthopedic development. To further advance digital orthopedics and orthopedic digital technologies, showcase the latest progress and clinical translation outcomes, and promote further standardized adoption and application of orthopedic digital intelligence and orthopedic clinical 3D printing technology, on December 31, 2022, in the beautiful and romantic city of Zhuhai, the Third Committee Election Conference of the Orthopedic Clinical and Materials Branch of the Guangdong Society of Biomedical Engineering and the 2022 Summit Forum on Orthopedic Clinical Practice and Digital Technology were held.
This event aims to serve as a bridge among research experts, orthopedic clinicians, and manufacturing technology companies, sparking advances in materials science for orthopedic clinical research and sharing products that can be used in clinical practice, truly achieving close industry–academia–research integration. Affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, this academic meeting was held in a combined online and offline format. The meeting specially invited leading orthopedic experts from across China to gather and discuss concepts, experience, cases, and outcomes related to digital orthopedic technologies in recent years, presenting an academic feast of orthopedic digital medicine.
