On July 22, 2026, the new campus of Southern Medical University Shenzhen Pingshan Hospital (Shenzhen Pingshan District People's Hospital) was officially opened, concurrently hosting the launch ceremony for the translational activation of Southern Medical University's key clinical specialties.

Zhuhai Sailner Digital Medical Technology Co., Ltd. reached a cooperation agreement with the hospital to jointly establish a Medical 3D Printing Joint Laboratory. The laboratory deeply supports the implementation of the hospital's key specialty construction, serving clinical departments such as orthopedics, neurosurgery, and hepatobiliary surgery. It provides a full suite of digital medical solutions including 3D lesion reconstruction, physical anatomical model printing, and personalized surgical guide customization, effectively shortening surgical planning time, improving intraoperative accuracy, and facilitating the digital upgrade of the hospital's surgical diagnosis and treatment.

This jointly built laboratory represents an important implementation project for Sailner Digital Medical's digital surgery layout in tertiary hospitals in eastern Guangdong. Application of 3D Printed Medical Functional Models in Soft and Hard Tissue Surgery

On April 3, 2024, the completion review of the national major science and technology project of Guangdong Province — Application of 3D Printed Medical Functional Models in Soft and Hard Tissue Surgery — was successfully held. Led by Zhuhai Sailner 3D and chaired by Professor Zhuang Jian, the project brought together multiple tertiary hospitals and medical enterprises for joint research. Leveraging multi-material color 3D printing technology, the project created simulated human soft and hard tissue organ models, empowering preoperative planning and clinical teaching, and accelerating the clinical translation of precise surgical digital technology.

Additive Manufacturing of Functional Active Myocardial Tissue — Launch and Proposal Defense Meeting for the National Key R&D Program of the 14th Five-Year Plan

Led by Professor Huang Wenhua's team from the State Key Discipline of Human Anatomy at Southern Medical University, this project was successfully applied for in collaboration with Sailner Technology, Xiamen University, Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, and Peking University Shenzhen Hospital, marking a major breakthrough for the team in securing large-scale projects. The project focuses on the R&D of additive manufacturing technology for functional active myocardial tissue, combining key technologies such as dedicated cardiac tissue engineering bio-ink, actuation and sensing systems, and pre-clinical translational application research. It aims to form an industrial chain encompassing integrated bio-3D printing equipment manufacturing, biomaterial development, and personalized medical services. Its successful implementation will help address a series of key scientific and technical problems in the application of functional active myocardial tissue additive manufacturing in the biomedical field.

On September 26, 2020, the Guangdong Medical 3D Printing Application and Transformation Engineering Technology Research Center and Zhuhai Sailner Digital Medical jointly established the Medical 3D Printing Innovation Center Joint Research Platform, and the Guangdong Medical 3D Printing Application and Transformation Engineering Technology Research Center (Branch Center) was officially established at Sailner.

Leveraging this joint research platform, both parties will utilize their respective resource advantages in the 3D field to form innovative research teams. Driven by innovations in management systems and operational mechanisms, they will promote scientific research projects, optimize resource allocation, gather top talents, form innovative teams, enhance scientific innovation capabilities, produce high-level research achievements, and fulfill social service functions. Taking the actual needs of relevant cooperative medical institutions as scenarios, and combining the R&D resources of the Guangdong Medical 3D Printing Application and Transformation Engineering Technology Research Center, they will provide R&D, promotion, and practical training platforms for the engineering technology research center in digital modeling, 3D printing, and other areas. Sailner Partners with Guizhou Provincial Cancer Hospital to Establish Guizhou's First Medical 3D Technology Research and Application Center

On July 27, Guizhou Provincial Cancer Hospital held the unveiling ceremony of the Medical 3D Technology Research and Application Center, marking the official establishment of the first medical 3D technology research and application center in Guizhou Province. The application of 3D technology will actively promote the improvement of the hospital's clinical diagnosis and treatment level, scientific research competitiveness, and benefits for patients.

At the launch ceremony, Kong Lingzhong (General Manager of Guizhou Xinbang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.), Luo Kaijian (President of Guizhou Provincial Cancer Hospital), Chen Jianping (Vice President), Ouyang Weiwei (Vice President), and Chen Yadong (Vice President) attended the ceremony and participated in the ribbon-cutting.

President Luo Kaijian stated that malignant tumors pose a serious threat to human health. As a specialized tumor hospital, while fighting tumors, maintaining the length and quality of life is also extremely important. As an emerging digital intelligent manufacturing technology in healthcare, 3D technology is gradually becoming an indispensable and important component of customized smart medical services.

This marks Guizhou Provincial Cancer Hospital as the first hospital in Guizhou's medical industry to establish a medical 3D technology research and application center within the hospital, and the first among specialized tumor hospitals in Southwest China to establish such a center.

In 2017, Sailner Jointly Established the "Cardiovascular Medical 3D Printing Joint Laboratory" with the Guangdong Academy of Sciences and Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital

On October 11, 2017, Guangdong Provincial People's Hospital, Guangdong Provincial Cardiovascular Institute, and Zhuhai Sailner Digital Medical established China's first cardiovascular medical 3D printing joint laboratory integrating medicine, research, and enterprise.

The laboratory was established to promote the clinical application and scientific research of cardiovascular medical 3D printing technology, as well as the R&D of domestic 3D printing equipment and materials. The near-term goal is to use 3D printed anatomical models to assist in preoperative diagnosis, intraoperative "navigation," and postoperative evaluation, as well as to conduct cardiovascular hemodynamics scientific research and clinical applications using models and modeling. The medium-term goal is to customize and print implantable biological or non-biological grafts for the human body. The long-term goal is to manufacture transplantable "artificial hearts" by combining cell cultivation technology.

Within just over a year of its establishment, the laboratory completed nearly 600 complex congenital heart surgeries, exceeding 2,000 cases by 2021. It also facilitated the introduction of Guangzhou's medical 3D charging policy, becoming a model project for regional 3D printing medical applications.
